Torres took Nikes advice and managed to find the back of the net to help the Blues win 3-0 against the mighty mighty Wycombe (well, it is a start!). Having only scored ONE (£50m remember this lad cost) league goal since January, I am hoping it may be a new start for him to shine like we know he is more than capable of. Torres on a good day is fantastic and maybe Villa-Boas is the man to remind us all of his talents.

Also, it is now a mere month to the start of the Premiership (I am nearly wetting myself with glee) and I am sure I am not alone in thinking, Ah! I am soon to be a manager! I must set up my fantasy football team immediately.
These may be preliminary games but they can often be revealing in who will be on top form come the first games. Always good to get off to a good start.
