Anyway, after Corinthians megre offer of £35m was rejected, Juventus have swooped in and offered £45m which I am guessing will be more successful. Mainly because Carlos Tevez is an ace at geography and seems to think that Italy is in fact closer to home.

Villa have actually made a £10m bid for N'Zobgia which thrills me because a) he is a fantastic player and b) dear Jesus we need players.

West Ham have also conceded they will lose Scott Parker and want £8m for him which I think is very reasonable. The race for him seems to be between Chelsea and Villa and I am hoping Chelsea don't want him too much as Villa need some serious strength in their midfield. I can just see him in a claret and blue strip now...
